The Healthcare Facilities Symposium enjoys a rich 35 year history. HFSE was established in 1987 by Wayne Rugaas a forum that initiated the inquiry of how the design of the physical environment could positively affect healing and promote well-being. The mission of the Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo is to create a multi-disciplinary environment that inspires you to evoke change and the advancement of a better delivery of healthcare through the physical space. Competitors, clients, and colleagues come together as friends to collaborate, share research, hear fresh perspectives and participate in the ever changing conversation of your industry.
Starting in 2016, Kevin Dulle with Newground has been an integral part of the Symposium every year. Kevin is a visual translator and he engages all participants to hear what they are experiencing at the event and draws what he is hearing. What we end up with each year is a piece of art. A beautiful, vibrant picture of what transpired when we were all together.
