THE PEOPLE
Competitors, clients, and colleagues come together as friends to collaborate each year. They come from architectural firms, healthcare providers, contractors, engineering firms, interior design firms, design build firms and government agencies. Our advisory board represents the breadth of attendees and they work to certify the education, exhibits and networking reflect the current trends and issues facing our industry. The HFSE team is there to help you with whatever you may need to make attending an enjoyable experience.
THE EDUCATION
In our over 60 sessions, you will hear from the perspective of the architect, engineer, contractor and healthcare provider. Our faculty of speakers is made up of all disciplines for a well-rounded point of view. All of our case studies are required to have a speaker from the healthcare provider as part of the panel. You will gain takeaways to implement in your current and upcoming projects as well as earn up to 15.25 CEUs from the AIA, IDCEC and EDAC.
THE NETWORKING
We know that most people’s #1 goal in attending events is to network with friends, clients, colleagues and make new connections which is why we offer countless opportunities such as the Symposium Party, breakfasts, the Awards Luncheon, extended breaks between sessions, Lunch on the Exhibit Floor, an Ice Cream Social and Happy Hour.
THE EXHIBIT FLOOR
The exhibit floor features hundreds of live demonstrations of innovative healthcare design and construction products and services that support all types of healthcare environments. Experience showcased solutions to improve efficiencies, save money and time and improve the patient experience. Engage with exhibitors in a face-to-face setting. Be sure to visit the Design Solutions Theaters where the design team gallery projects come alive with 15-minute mini-presentations conducted by leading healthcare architecture firms.
THE KEYNOTES
In need of some inspiration and perhaps a reminder why you have chosen this field? Then our keynotes are just the thing. You’ll have the chance to hear 3 keynotes over the event. Our attendees walk away from the keynotes with a new perspective, inspired and motivated to make the world a better place.

Attending an event should be fun and our attendees certainly have a good time. One of the event highlights is our annual raffle with 100% of the proceeds going to a different charitable organization each year. Since 2006 we have donated over $200k to deserving organizations. Attendees buy tickets and win prizes ranging from Kate Spade bags to Apple products to Lego kits and everything in between.
