With over 30 years experience in the design and management of complex urban projects, Mark has a diverse portfolio of projects reflecting his training as both an architect and an urban planner. His career has focused on the creation of new mixed-use and urban neighborhoods that reinvigorate underutilized districts into 21st-century mixed-use destinations. He also plans and designs lively innovation districts supporting the collaborative imperatives of today’s science and technology. Mark has managed design teams for projects including the global headquarters for Vertex Pharmaceuticals’ and Pfizer’s global headquarters and master planning of over 5M SF of life science research space at the Texas Medical Center including the TMC3 Collaborative research building. He is currently leading the planning and design team for numerous life science laboratory projects throughout the country. In addition to Mark’s science and technology experience, he has collaborated extensively with The Walt Disney Company on entertainment and retail precincts worldwide and managed projects for numerous higher educational institutions throughout the country.
