Jim Hicks, Bachelor of Environmental Design and Master of Architecture, serves as Vice President, Capital Planning for the Office of Facilities and Construction at Houston Methodist. He has over 30 years of experience related to major facilities and construction efforts and is charged with overseeing and managing the programming, space planning process, and construction for Houston Methodist Hospital Texas Medical Center Campus. Prior to joining Houston Methodist, Mr. Hicks was the Senior Project Manager for the University of Texas System and supervised and managed all the facility and construction projects for the University of Texas System Office in Houston.
