Mollie West, MHA, FACHE, FHFI, is a Senior Healthcare Planner for major leases and major construction for the U.S. Department for Veterans Affairs (VA). She has worked for the VA for more than 14 years. In addition to healthcare planning, she has served in a variety of detailed leadership roles in the Veterans Healthcare Administration (VHA) to include acting Deputy Director, interim Associate Director, acting Chief of planning, and interim Associate Director for Outpatient Operations. Ms. West possesses multiple certifications from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for healthcare and hospitals. She is also certified by the VA’s Healthcare Leadership Development Program. Ms. West is a fellow of the Healthcare Facilities Institute, Leadership VA, as well as a Board-certified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Ms. West was part of the 2020 Project Delivery Team of the Year issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the team’s work on the Canandaigua VA Medical Center project in New York. She is a graduate from the University of Houston-Clear Lake with a Master of Health Administration in Healthcare.
