Parveen Chand, MHA, FACHE serves as the Interim President South Region of Ascension St. Vincent's Indiana where he oversees a ministry with several owned and managed facilities serving the greater Evansville, In market. Previously he was the COO of the Indiana University Health Academic Health in Indianapolis, Indiana, the state's largest hospital. His experience includes leading academic health centers, large and small community-based hospitals, for profit and faith-based institutions. Along with executive management experience developing and leading talent, managing board relations, and working alongside employed and independent physician practices, he has had functional responsibility of key service lines, clinical non-nursing operations and support functions across multiple sites of service. An experienced strategic planner and operator, he has deep industry experience in design and construction management, functional and operational planning of multi-billion projects, information technology assessments and implementation, physician relations, mergers and acquisitions, benchmarking, long term planning , patient experience, and quality improvement initiatives. He has served as the Board Chair of the Essential Hospitals Institute of America's Essential Hospital, Chair of the American Heart Association Heart Walk, Board member of Horizon House in Indianapolis and board member of the Downtown Indianapolis Kiwanis Foundation.
