Ashley DownesDirector of TucsonBernhard
Ashley has spent her career establishing Bernhard’s retro-commissioning service line and travels across the United States as a steward for healthcare facilities working to save them energy costs. She is currently a director in Bernhard’s engineering division. After receiving her Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, she joined Bernhard as a mechanical designer. She quickly climbed from energy engineer, to project manager, and is now one of the youngest directors at the company. Ashley is an active member of ASHE, both locally and nationally. She has presented several times at the national conference, and works with many committees. She is an advocate for her local chapter, where she supports annual events and works to increase membership. Ashley is also involved in APPA, where she was selected to present at a statewide conference last year. She also is involved in AEE and ASHRAE.
