Kirsten LambDouble Bassist, Vocalist, and Educator

Kirsten Lamb is an award-winning double bassist, vocalist, and educator. She has performed across the US and internationally for audiences of all ages. As a teaching artist with Young Audiences of Massachusetts, she helped develop a music curriculum to support preschoolers with trauma at Horizons for Homeless Children. Kirsten holds a BMus from Oberlin Conservatory and an M.M. from New England Conservatory, where she was an active member of the Community Performances and Partnerships program. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Gunther Schuller Medal for “extraordinary contributions” to the school, in part due to her outreach work.
