Jill works collaboratively with Stanford Children’s Health leaders on the overall master plan for the main building, the refresh of the West Building and other space projects. She was a pediatric nurse for 25 years and has worked in the department of nursing as a Patient Care Director overseeing the PICU, CVICU, Transplant Services and several medical-surgical units including acting as Service Line Director for the Heart Center and Transplant Centers of Excellence at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. Jill led the design and opening of the new main hospital and has directed LPCH transformation initiatives like the first electronic health record-LINKS. Utilizing her clinical background, Jill and her team work to optimize the design to support safe and efficient workflow for staff, providers, patients and their families. Today, Jill is primarily responsible for Strategic Space Planning at Stanford Children’s and her team works closely with the Planning, Design and Construction team acting as the primary interface between team and the Stanford Children’s providers, staff, patients, and their families. Jill is also responsible for ensuring that the design supports family-centered patient care and creates an environment that attracts and retains staff and our providers.
