Amy Carter, NCIDQAssociate, Healthcare PlannerGensler
A licensed interior designer with 10 years of experience working in healthcare planning and design, Amy Carter has played an integral role in building Gensler's healthcare practice in the New York office. Since joining the firm in 2017, she has interpreted and refined the design direction and vision for projects across the Northeast Region, London, and Costa Rica. Focused on improving the patient, family, and caregiver experience in healthcare delivery, Amy has developed clear approaches to focusing on process, visioning, goal setting, and experience mapping with clients as well as impactful tools for workshops. A natural team leader and mentor, she helps colleagues across the firm with FGI requirements, programming templates, and best practices to ensure there is consistent delivery across healthcare projects. Amy holds a Master of Professional Studies in Healthcare Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design and graduated with the Chairman's Award, which recognizes outstanding creative achievements.
