Proof of Vaccination or Negative COVID Test
HFSE will not be requiring proof of vaccination or negative test for the 2022 event, per updated Health Orderby the City of Long Beach, effective April 1st.

Masks Optional
The current health orderfor the City of Long Beach states that masks will no longer be required for unvaccinated individuals, but will be strongly recommended for all individuals in most indoor settings.

The Long Beach Convention Center (LBCC) will host HFSE 2022.

Proof of Vaccination or Negative Test FAQs
What type of Covid-19 vaccination is required for entry into HFSE?
HFSE will not be requiring proof of vaccination or negative test for the 2022, per updated Health Orderby the City of Long Beach, effective April 1st.
I will need to schedule a PCR covid test before returning to my home country, does HFSE offer testing services? If not, can you provide locations close to the Convention Center that may offer such services?
HFSE will not have testing available on-site but there are several testing options in Long Beach near the Convention Center.
Mask FAQs
What type of masks are acceptable?
Masks should have two or more layers of washable, breathable fabric. Two- or three-layer disposable medical masks are acceptable.
Is there a specific way I must wear my mask while inside the Long Beach Convention Center?
Masks must be placed over your nose and mouth and secured under your chin.
Are there any additional recommendations about masks?
It is recommended to have a face mask that includes a nose wire to prevent air from leaking out of the top of the mask
Are Gaiters an acceptable mask form?
Gaiters will be allowed but not recommended – ALL gaiters should be made with two layers OR fold to make two layers.
Will masks be provided at HFSE?
HFSE will have a supply of 3-ply disposable masks located at Registration if you misplace, forget, or lose your mask.

Pick your badge ribbon that matches your comfort level.
Green- Open for handshakes and maybe even hugs.
Yellow – Still being cautious, elbows only.
Red – No contact, stay 6′ away.
Ribbons will be available at the HFSE registration when you pick up your badge. We hope this makes navigating being being back together a little easier.
