Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo and our partners strive to be a leader in environmental sustainability for the trade show industry. Our initiatives include:
- Eliminating the use of aisle carpet in the Exhibit Hall, which removes over 30,000 sq ft of carpet from our waste.
- Limiting the amount of paper printed by using thinner Event Guides & relying on our app for streamlining event information.
- Work with venues that donate unused food to areas shelters and food banks.
- Using signage that can be easily recycled.
- Transitioned to an all paper badge eliminating the need for plastic badge holders.
