If you believe in astrology, as a Taurus I am a very passionate // driven individual; I throw myself headfirst into whatever I take on. Whether that be sports, design, leadership, etc., I don’t shy away from challenging opportunities. Because of this, I am always striving to improve // make better the things I take on. In my work, I get the opportunity to tackle the challenges of healthcare. What drives me is to see how I can help push the conversation past “what we have done” or “what we are doing” to “where are we going” or “where do we want to be”. I have built long lasting relationships with my clients because they know I will constantly challenge them as I do myself to be better tomorrow.
Healthcare Design Work
Healthcare has been a huge impact on my life. Whether that is having to be in an ED due to my weekend warrior antics or having to spend time with a loved one dealing with a difficult situation, healthcare environments are spaces we experience when we are often at our most vulnerable. The physical environment influences so much of how we learn, work, socialize, worship, grieve, and heal. So, I strive within my own work to draw from places // experiences that have created a sense of serenity & grace. Whether it is connections to the natural, it’s a tactile // sensory experience, or otherwise, I seek to connect the essence of humanity to create more wholistic healthcare environments.
