About Ari
Ari is dedicated to advancing the engineering profession. He is a founding member of Penn State University’s Architectural Engineering Society Advisory Board. As well, he is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) and local NCR and Virginia ASHE chapters.
Ari has shared his specialized insights by serving as an industry speaker and author. He has presented at national and local conferences, seminars and chapter meetings for the following organizations: ASHE, ASHRAE, AIA, and Healthcare Building Expo. As well, he has led discussions with college and high school students on the Life of an Engineer.
In 2009, Consulting Specifying Engineers vote Ari one of the top 40 engineers under 40 years. Ari’s commitment to excellence, wide-ranging professional background and ability to establish long-term relationships is the perfect blend for lean project delivery. Clients and industry colleagues respect him.
Healthcare Design Work
Ari has over 24 years design and management experience; and is currently the managing principal for BR+A’s Washington dc office. Significant projects include: MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, Children’s National Medical Center, John’s Hopkins University Hospital, INOVA Kaiser Permanente HUB, Washington Adventist MOB, EPIC Systems Corporation, and MD Anderson Cancer Prevention Building.
Fun Fact
When not working, Ari enjoys coaching Soccer and basketball; or planning the next family adventure to see as many of the National Parks before his kids get out of high school.
