Tina Wu MD/MBAAssociate Chief of ServiceNYU Langone Health

Dr. Tina Wu is an Associate Professor at the NYU School of Medicine and currently the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Emergency Medicine Associate Chief of Service. Dr. Wu was previously the Chief of Service for the Immediate Care Center at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. Dr. Wu attended medical school at UCLA and completed her residency in the Emergency Medicine program at NYU /Bellevue Hospital Center. Dr. Wu also received her MBA degree from Harvard Business School, completed a Global Health Fellowship with the American Medical Student Association in Washington DC, and a completed National Security Education Fellowship in Beijing, China. Previously, Dr. Wu worked as the Assistant to the Medical Director at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Service and served as Director of the AMSA National Global Health Scholars Program. She co-founded a non-profit organization, Support for International Change, in Arusha, Tanzania.

Dr Wu has published many chapters and papers and recently published an original research article in 2017 in JAMA on the pharmaceutical influence over physicians. Dr. Wu has received numerous awards including being named one of Time Magazines, “200 Brightest, Most Industrious Minds in America” among students and teachers. She has been inducted into the prestigious University of Arizona, Galileo Circle Scholars, and was named rookie “Attending of the Year” at NYU/Bellevue.
