Judith Sachs is Founder and Director of ANYONE CAN DANCE®, an adaptive movement program in Philadelphia, PA. Although she started her professional life on the stage, and then moved to the healthcare arena, she now combines these two passions. Since the body was made to move throughout our lifetime, her goal is to get everyone dancing, whether in a chair or across the floor. Judith is a member of the Lifetime Arts teaching roster and was named Teaching Artist of the Month in November 2017. She won a 2015 Leeway Arts and Change grant for her intergenerational dance troupe, and a 2017Leeway WOO grant for her cancer dance program. She works with those in chairs, wheelchairs and walkers to inspire movement beyond what they thought was possible. In addition, she is part of the CenterStage arts in medicine program at Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, dancing with patients and caregivers in the infusion suites. She is a certified Dance for Parkinsons teacher in Philadelphia.
