Tamela AldridgeDC Regional DirectorOnly Make Believe
Tamela Aldridge is the DC Regional Director for Only Make Believe, a nonprofit organization that creates and performs interactive theatre for children in hospitals, care facilities, and special education programs. She has worked as a Teaching Artist with the New Victory Theater, American Place Theater, New York Public Radio, Brooklyn Academy of Music and Disney Theatrical Productions. Acting credits include: TELEVISION & FILM: One Life to Live, Law and Order: SVU, Sex & the City, Friends. OFF-BROADWAY: When Last We Flew, 2010 NY Fringe Festival (Winner – Outstanding Play); Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, The Trojan Women, Classical Theatre of Harlem. REGIONAL THEATRE: Gee’s Bend, Hartford Stage; Doubt, You Can’t Take It With You, Pioneer Theatre Company; Doubt, Portland Stage Company; Yellowman, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Tamela received her BFA from Howard University and completed the two-year professional acting program at William Esper Studio in New York City.
