Artful Healing Coordinator, MFA
Alice Garfield is the Artful Healing Coordinator at the MFA, running day-to-day operations of the Artful Healing and Beyond the Spectrum programs. Through Artful Healing, she collaborates with MFA adjunct instructors and healthcare staff to bring art-making activities to children, teens, adults, and families in Boston-area hospitals and healthcare centers. She also coordinates monthly Beyond the Spectrum tours and classes designed to introduce the museum to children ages 8-12 on the autism spectrum. Alice received her BA from Pomona College and her MAT in Art Education from Tufts University in partnership with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.
