A Sr. Interior Designer at Array with 20 years experience as an interior designer and lead planner in healthcare facilities, Laura’s projects have included pediatric units, MOBs, ORs, EDs and patient units for many academic medical centers across the country. Laura designs interior spaces with her knowledge of healthcare planning and with the goal of integrating the two for seamless and unique solutions. In- and outpatient spaces, such as the recently completed Nemours / Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children’s new Ambulatory Surgery Center and Children's National Medical Center's Behavioral Health Unit reflect Laura’s sensitivity to diverse patient populations and her ability to blend the outside in and create calm, yet appealing interiors to meet the needs of all age groups. She uses a Process-led design approach to rapidly define and design healing environments. Laura guides users utilizing process mapping, visual programming, virtual/physical mock-ups and rapid prototyping.
