JoAnn MagnattaSr. Vice President, Real Estate, Facilities Design & ConstructionMain Line Health System

JoAnn Magnatta has served in Senior Healthcare positions for more than 25 years.  She joined Main Line Health in 2001 as Senior Vice President of Facilities Design and Construction/Real Estate.  In this role she oversees the design, construction and maintenance of over 7 million square feet of real estate including four acute care hospitals, one rehab hospital, a drug and alcohol treatment facility, and several major outpatient sites.   She is also responsible for the acquisition, disposition, development and management of all real estate operations, maintenance and engineering services, system security operations and emergency preparedness.   


Prior to joining Main Line Health, JoAnn served as Corporate Vice President of Real Estate Services and Facilities at Continuum Services, a five hospital, Manhattan based Health System, Vice President, Facilities and Real Estate for Tenet Healthcare and Vice President of Operations for Allegheny Health.


Main Line Health continues to build on our commitment to serve our community with modern facilities to make patients more comfortable, improve patient convenience and, ultimately, ensure the delivery of high-quality, equitable care.  In that effort, JoAnn is currently involved in three landmark facility projects for Main Line Health including, the expansion of Lankenau Medical Center's Emergency Department, Bryn Mawr Hospital’s new seven-story state-of-the-art Patient Pavilion, medical office building and garage enhancement and the Main Line Health Center at King of Prussia, which will serve as the first-of-its kind Women’s Specialty Center, in partnership with Axia Women’s Health.


JoAnn is a member of several local, regional and national organizations, including Commercial Real Estate for Women (CREW), the Executive Forum of Women, the Board of Trustees of LaSalle University, the Dean’s Advisory Council for Villanova University’s College of Liberal Arts & Sciences and the Board of Trustees of the American Heart Association from 2012 to 2018.   JoAnn has been an active member of the Executive Leadership Team of the Go Red for Women Initiative since 2008 and has served as Chair for the 2010 and 2018 Campaigns.
