Arsalan Gharaveis

Ph.D Candidate, Texas A&M University

Arsalan Gharaveis is a Ph.D Candidate in Architecture school at Texas A&M University. His concentration is the improvement of healthcare facilities. His areas of interests include: Emergency department design, wayfinding strategies, evidence based healthcare design, and lighting in healthcare facilities After achieving a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Art University of Isfahan, Iran in 2008, he completed his Master’s degree in Healthcare Architecture at Iran University of Science and Technology in 2011. Following getting his Master's, he taught for two years as an adjunct professor at Azad University, while he did his design and research projects. • Evidence-Based Design in Healthcare Facilities • Lighting in Patient Rooms and Acute Care Hospitals • Wayfinding and Design • Environmental Psychology in Architecture • Active Living in Assisted Living Facilities
