Steve serves as project manager for the Mount Carmel Grove City project, responsible for leading the design team in collaboration with the construction team for the 210-bed replacement hospital. With more than 20 years of experience, Steve’s portfolio of work includes LEED-Certified, nationally published and award-winning projects, but his proudest accomplishment has been designing healthcare environments that are great places to work, visit or heal. Steve chairs GS&P’s NSTEP Program, an AIA-recognized clinical shadowing program to educate staff on how to design effective clinical environments. Active within the industry, he chaired the AIA Young Architect’s Forum (now Emerging Professionals) and is a former Board member of Leadership Healthcare, an organization developed by the Nashville Health Care Council. He was named a finalist in the Nashville Emerging Leader Awards (NELA) in 2009. Steve earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Mississippi State University.
