Brent Ibata, PhD JD MPH RAC CCRC is a 1988 graduate of Lane Technical High School in Chicago, Illinois who went on to complete three graduate degrees at Saint Louis University (PhD/MPH in public health; JD with a certificate in health law). Dr. Ibata is the author of the book "Public Health Law and the Built Environment in American Public Schools". He is the Director of Operations for the Sentara Cardiovascular Research Institute at Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Ibata sits is on the Board of Trustees for the Association for Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and writes a research compliance column for its peer reviewed journal – The Monitor. Previously, Dr. Ibata was an Associate Professor at Saint Louis University Hospital.
