Our 2019 conference program was unveiled just last week. Have you had a chance to look it over yet? I am really looking forward to this year’s program and hope you take some time to check out the compelling sessions we have put together.
We have folks from Henry Ford Health System, University of Kentucky Healthcare, Cedars-Sinai, University of Texas Medical Branch - Galveston and John Muir Health coming to share their stories and expertise with us in September. Some of our “fan favorites” are back like, Frank Pitts with architecture+, Elizabeth Melas with Rush University Medical Center and Sheila Cahnman with JumpGarden Consulting.
As you know, this year we are heading to Boston which is a healthcare and innovation hub. It also means we are attracting new firms and healthcare providers who are going to share their expertise with us. Firms like Lavallee Brensinger Architects, BR+A Consulting Engineers and Margulies Perruzzi Architects or healthcare providers such as Nantucket Cottage Hospital, Boston Medical Center and Reliant Medical Group Inc. Of course, we’ll also be hearing from the giants such as Massachusetts General Hospital, Partners Healthcare and Boston Children’s Hospital.
Beyond learning from these new organizations, we will also have an opportunity to learn about nontraditional healthcare settings. Folks from the Ronald McDonald House Charities and Oregon Health & Science University will discuss how they created a first of its kind, five-story guest house for pediatric and adult patients and their families. You will be able to hear about The Villages in Florida’s priority, which is to create a place to deliver excellent patient care in an environment that feels like home.
These are just a few examples of the education you will receive by attending this year’s event. You can see the entire program at a glance by clicking here. Keep in mind we have yet to announce our keynotes or facility tours . . . so stay tuned!
