I am over joyed that the 2019 Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo will be in the Boston, Massachusetts! It is my home city and I really can’t wait to welcome everyone this September. Boston is synonymous with a lot of things including healthcare, federal architectural, innovation and of course sports championships, seafood and American history.
Healthcare in Boston is world renowned. It is home to the #1 hospital in the US, Mass General; the #1 Children’s hospital in the US, Boston Children’s Hospital and the #1 Medical School in the US, Harvard University. Mass General has just announced a large edition. The greater Boston area is home to 22 world-renowned teaching hospitals and academic medical centers. Boston is the gateway to New England where other top hospitals such as Yale-New Haven Hospital, Maine Medical Center, and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center are located. All of this healthcare and yet a major healthcare design event has not been here since 2003 which is why we can’t wait to bring all of our attendees to this great town. During the day there will be plenty of education and networking opportunities that are part of the Symposium.
At night or in the days before and after the Symposium, our attendees will be treated to Boston in the fall which is probably the most wonderful time in our city. Seeing the Red Sox at Fenway or the Patriots in Foxboro, shopping on Newbury Street, going back in time on the Freedom Trail or enjoying oysters at Island Creek are just some of the many adventures to be experienced. Morning walks on the Charles River or runs around the Boston Commons to experience the crisp fall air and see the city.
Right now we are in the middle of reviewing speaking proposals to put together this year’s conference program. Exhibitors are signing up each day. And registration will open in just a few weeks. Keep your eyes on your email for all the exciting things we’ll offer in Boston this fall!
