First Look at the Conference Program Our 2017 conference program was unveiled just two weeks ago. Have you had a chance to check it out yet? I am really looking forward to this year’s program and hope you take some time to look over the compelling sessions we have put together.
We have folks from Johns Hopkins Health System, Stanford Health Care, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Brigham & Women's Hospital coming to share their stories and expertise with us in September. Some of our “fan favorites” are back like Natalie Miovski Hagerty with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, John Milne with Avnew Health and Walt Vernon with Mazzetti+GBA.
As you know this year we are heading to Austin which as a destination in and of itself is very exciting. It also means we are attracting new firms and healthcare providers who are going to share their expertise with us. Firms like Page, FKP and Broaddus & Associates or healthcare providers such as the University Medical Center of El Paso, Texas Health Huguley Hospital and St. David’s Medical Center.
Beyond learning from these new organizations, we will also have an opportunity to learn from different cultures which is going to be fascinating. Folks from the Navajo Area Indian Health Service will discuss how they have put wellness first and emphasize on preventative care and how they view staying healthy as the first line of defense. You will be able to hear the how Hawaiian’s are caring for their Kupuna in a session about senior living.
These are just a few examples of the education you will receive by attending this year’s event. You can see the entire program at a glance by clicking here. Keep in mind we have yet to announce our keynotes or facility tours . . . so stay tuned!
