I’ve tailored my career experience to include roles as an architect, a contractor and a healthcare owner so that I could utilize my understanding of all aspects of healthcare design, construction and operations in support of the mission of a world-class academic medical center.

 

About Patrick

Patrick M. Casey is the Executive Director – Planning, Design and Construction at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.  Prior to joining UMMC, Patrick was the Regional Program Manager for The University of Texas System Office of Facilities Planning and Construction overseeing the $1.7-billion Capital Improvement Program at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.  Patrick is no stranger to large healthcare projects as he was on the core management team that oversaw the design and construction of $1.3-billion New Parkland Campus in Dallas, Texas.  A native of Ohio, Patrick has also worked as an Owner’s Representative at University Hospitals/Case Medical Center and the Cleveland Clinic, both in Northeastern Ohio.  Prior to transitioning to working as an owner, Patrick was an award-winning design architect.  He has successfully led multiple project teams and owners through the planning, design and construction of over $4-billion in capital projects throughout the United States and Internationally.
